Annual Spring Gala

Each year, Spruce Run’s Annual Spring Gala brings together the community for a night of music, all-you-can-eat treats, and shopping.

You may know this event as the “Silent Auction and Dessert Party,” or even as the “Chocolate Party” if you’ve known Spruce Run long enough. The Spring Gala is Spruce Run’s largest fundraiser, and we’ve been hosting it for over 20 years! We think the new name better reflects the fun, festive celebration of spring that it is.

So dress up (or down), come out, and enjoy live music and amazing food. Some of the area’s best bakers and confectioners provide decadent cakes, cookies, and pies, and we’re developing a selection of fine artisan breads, cheeses, and other Maine-grown snacks to compliment the sweet treats.

Food not tempting enough for you? Then come for the Silent Auction, which features high-quality donations from local artisans, craftspeople, and businesses. Looking for a scrumptious basket of hand-spun yarn? Some unique pottery? How about an original painting or photograph to adorn your wall?  You can find all of this—and much more—at our Silent Auction.  

The Spring Gala is the perfect chance to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, listen to great music, bid on the quality auction items, and support Spruce Run, all at the same time. Check out our events page for details on this year’s party. We hope to see you there!
