Spruce Run Opens Outreach Office in Lincoln

Spruce Run has a new outreach office in Lincoln! People impacted by domestic abuse in the Lincoln area now have a local resource for specialized support. Our Lincoln-based advocate will provide face-to-face advocacy, safety planning, and connections with community resources for victims and those who care about them. Spruce Run continues to offer legal advocacy in Lincoln District Court. 

The new office is a part of our Lincoln-area transitional housing initiative, which is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women. Although we’ve long offered transitional housing in the Bangor area, we know there is a need for transitional services in the northern part of our county.
