Spruce Run Honored by the Maine Association of Nonprofits

On April 1, Spruce Run was honored to receive second place in the mid-sized organization division in the Governor’s Awards for Nonprofit Excellence. These awards are given annually to Maine nonprofits who combine ingenuity with sound management practices. The selection committee “was impressed with how [Spruce Run's] collectivist approach is so strongly integrated into all of [our] work.”  Thanks to the Maine Association of Nonprofits for this honor!

Regina Rooney from Spruce Run accepts the award from Scott Schnapp of the Maine Association of Nonprofits, and Thaxter Trafton, the DECD Commissioner.
