National Child Abuse Prevention Month

We know that domestic abuse hurts children, too, and that child abuse of any kind is unacceptable. Tragically, in the last several years several Maine children have died as a result of domestic violence. Many, many more are affected each day by the abuse that happens in their homes. They might hear the shouting, or see one parent hit the other – or they might be hit, themselves.
