Skip to main contentWe know that domestic abuse hurts children, too, and that child abuse of any kind is unacceptable. Tragically, in the last several years several Maine children have died as a result of domestic violence. Many, many more are affected each day by the abuse that happens in their homes. They might hear the shouting, or see one parent hit the other – or they might be hit, themselves.
Please visit our What About the Children page for more information on how domestic abuse impacts children. You can also visit our Children’s Services page to find out how Spruce Run can help.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we want all children to have safe, healthy homes.
